A Christmas Carol
Adapted by Kathryn Gage
Directed by Rebecca Mayo

RCP's longstanding tradition of our classic retelling of the Dickens story.

Auditions will take place the evenings of Monday September 9th and Tuesday September 10th.

Since the story is so well known, auditions will primarily consist of cold readings from the script: however, if you have a prepared monologue (no longer than 1 minute) with material representative of A Christmas Carol, you are welcome to present it.
ADULTS WILL AUDITION AT 7 PM.
CHILDREN WILL AUDITION AT 6 PM.

There are private daytime performances Wednesday December 10th, Thursday December 11th, and Friday December 12th.  Due to these daytime requirements, a small stipend is available for performers.

Rehearsals begin the 22 of October with a read thru, and generally will be scheduled Monday thru Thursday with an occasional  Saturday necessary. There will be no rehearsal on November 27-29 (Thanksgiving).

This is very much an ensemble production. Every actor will have one main character, but will also play additional roles as assigned. Since the story is so well known, auditions will primarily consist of cold readings from the script: however, if you have a prepared monologue (no longer than 1 minute) with material representative of A Christmas Carol, you are welcome to present it.

Children cast must be responsible and well behaved, and capable of remaining in the Green Room with minimal supervision. All rehearsals will be conducted in a child appropriate environment.

For any other information you need, feel free to call Rebecca Mayo between 9am - 8pm at 505-400-4908.
