Just in time for Halloween, this calssically spooky yet comedic tale is about Ichabod Crane, the spindly new schoolmaster in a quiet village known by the locals as "Sleepy Hollow". When Ichabod falls for the coquettish Katrina Van Tassel, he unwittingly irritates her other suitor, the rugged and robust Brom Bones. Although Brom and his cohorts are intimidating fellows, it is the legendary Headless Horseman that haunts the church bridge near the schoolhouse who scares Ichabod the most!

A traditional version about the transformation of the bitter and miserly Ebenezer Scrooge. It is Chirstmas Eve ant the ghost of Jacob Marley comes to Scrooge to foretell of the visit of three spirits, who are Scrooge's only hope of seeing the error of his ways. Resistant at first, Scrooge journeys through the events of his life with each of the spirits and awakens in the morning a man who has learned how to keep Christmas in his heart all year. A story for any time and all ages, it was Charles Kickens' own favorite.
