Mr. Banks' daughter has just announced her engagement.
Everyone seems very happy except poor Mr. Banks, who is in an absolute dither!
The plans for a simple wedding prove fleeting as the guest list grows larger and caterers,
florists, furniture movers and dressmakers take over. Nevertheless, for Mr. Banks,
it turns out to be worth all the money and aggravation because after all it is for the
daughter of the Father of the Bride.
