"The Last Night of Ballyhoo"
by Alfred Uhry

Nov 11th - 27th, 2005
No performance Thanksgiving Day

The author of the Pulitzer Prize winning play, "Driving Miss Daisy," has again created an assortment of engaging characters. It is December, 1939, in Atlanta, Georgia where the world premiere of "Gone with the Wind" is about to open. Of much more concern to the Frietag family, however, is Ballyhoo - their social event of the season. The significance placed on just who will be going provides the humorous backdrop for family friction. There is plenty of comedy, romance, and a few unexpected turns and revelations along the way.
