Auditions June 2nd & 3rd @ 7:00

Auditions take place Sunday June 2nd and Monday June 3rd beginning at 7:00 PM.  Auditions consist of cold readings from the script.  Auditioners are welcome to attend both evenings of auditions, but it is not required.  There is no pay. Headshot and resume are recommended but not required.

Rehearsals will generally be Monday through Thursday 7-9:30 pm. A more detailed rehearsal schedule will be provided at auditions.

One Man Two Guvnors Performs Aug 30-Sept 15

CASTING BREAKDOWN
(3 Women, 8 Men)

CHARLIE "The Duck" Clench: a retired gangster. Age range: Somewhere in his fifties. Can take care of himself in a fight. Faint menace behind shark-like grin.

PAULINE: Clench's daughter. Age range: twenties/ thirties. Pretty, eyes wide with wonder. Dim-witted, “the dumbest of blondes.”

ALAN DANGLE: a wannabe actor and Pauline's fiancé. Age range: twenties/ thirties. Fancies himself a “star material type”.

HARRY DANGLE: Alan's father. Age range: Somewhere in his fifties/sixties. Clench's crooked solicitor- dapper and faintly sleazy.

STANLEY STUBBERS: an upper-class criminal and Rachel's lover. Age range: thirty something. Athletically built type. Roscoe's murderer. Strides about with confidence. Lounge lizard type.

RACHEL CRABBE: Roscoe's identical twin sister. Age range: twenties/early thirties. Pretending to be a man (her brother). Energetic and confident.

FRANCIS HENSHALL: a scheming assistant. Age range: thirty-something. “Cheeky and chubby”. Accidently employed by two masters. Always hungry with childlike frustration. Puppy, clumsy innocence with an infectious grin.

LLOYD BOATENG: Charlie’s friend- an ex-con turned pub owner. Age range: forties/fifties. Written as Jamaican with a shaved head. Cheery smile. He is also the pub’s chef.

DOLLY: Charlie's secretary. Age range: twenties/ thirties. Voluptuous and flirtatious with a scarlet lipsticky grin over her shoulder. Bossy. Wiggles on heels.

GARETH: head waiter at The Cricketers’ Arms. Age range: forties. “Efficient and streamlined”. Oversees operations with a flick of the wrist and a lifted eyebrow.

ALFIE: waiter. Age range: ancient(played by younger actor) Hard of hearing and nearly blind. “Cadaverous” - shuffles along, back bowed and bewildered.

Patrons may park in any of the spaces surrounding the theatre as well as the nearby Hospital Parking structures. The map below has available parking highlighted in yellow.

Due to the Arena seating style at RCP, no late seating is allowed.  Those in a wheelchair will need to transfer to a theatre seat in order to comply with fire safety.
