On December 21, 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 crashed after an act of terrorism, its parts raining down upon Lockerbie Scotland. The women of Lockerbie band together to convert this act of hatred into an act of love. Defying the U.S. Government, they fight to collect and wash the clothes of the victims so they might be able to return the belongings to the families left behind.
